Hi Vanessa, thanks for the tip and the encouragement. The Get Organized Now website seems to be down at the moment, but I'll have to check it out later.I just took a glance at your blog, and it seems like you've got quite a lot going on in your life. Good luck with the graduation and wedding.Just curious, how did you happen to find your way to this blog?

I am a procrastinator, although I don't know how often I get into a block... I started a system sponsored by a website called Get Organized Now!, they have a weekly newsletter that I like to read. Point is, they have a lot of organizing techniques and I just follow the ones I like. One I like in particular is one that says you should make a to-do list (I mean a big to-do list with <>all<> of your to-dos) and do at least 3 things every day. 3 doesn't sound like a bad number, does it? Sometimes I end up preparing and mailing off 3 separate bills, which is kind of cheating but give me some slack, but it makes me feel accomplished :D. So I hope your procrastination subsides, at least so you can be as productive as you might like to be. But who knows, I almost never do anything I am supposed to do either.

I remember reading about an habit of certain professional writers (e.g. Thomas Mann, Victor Hugo). They wrote every day, beginning at the same fixed time, for the same amount of time.Eventually, they "warmed up" during their session and ended up keeping a few good lines, throwing the rest away.Persistence over time did the rest.
